i bet the hand i hold, you close when i unfold. i gotta secret i'm keeping, do you wanna know? are you coming over to break my lucky streak? i got nothing left to lose, your storm will swallow me. read between the lines when you catch me with your eye. do you remember me, new as a polished stone, and do you remember the luster fade as we made it home?
it was all a wash of light, i believe in it sometimes. you never call me back, do you think i'm made of glass, do you think of me like that, do you keep me here like that?
This is just one of those albums that are in the perfect place at the perfect time. If you described it to me, I probably wouldn't listen to it, so just go listen to it. Seriously. You'll be glad you did. Morgan LaVigne

Philadelphian Mariah Johnson is a magnetic presence with a unique guitar style who performs perfectly strange gloom-rock for all us aliens. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 29, 2016
One of my favorite albums of 2015, Lardo's "GUNMETAL EYES" is also one of the best recordings I've found on Bandcamp. Great post-hardcore is hard to find (in my opinion), and GUNMETAL EYES is one of the greatest examples of the genre in the 2010s. Mandatory listening. Lovdahl, Ian
